Jeep Safari in Kumaon Himalayas

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Arrival at Delhi airport to a warm welcome from our representatives who shall assist & transfer you to a pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi – Shimla

Arrive at Delhi Airport to a warm welcome from our representatives who shall assist & transfer you to a pre-booked hotel. Take time to relax and unwind before heading out for an evening visit to the Old Delhi. Visit the Jama Masjid- a sacred mausoleum built by the Mughals in the 16th century. A short rickshaw ride through the narrow but colorful streets of Chandni Chowk, where those fond of spicy food may enjoy its famous ‘chaat food’. Later, visit to Red Fort, built as the royal residence for the Mughal sultanate where we shall witness the sound & light show. Drive back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay

Day - 3 -- » Pangot

Morning arrival at Kathgodam, the railhead for Nainital and drive to Pangot (2 hr.). Upon arrival check-in at a luxury lodge and rest of the day free at leisure. In the evening, we will head out for nature walks amidst the scenic surroundings of Pangot and Kilbury. Overnight at the lodge.

Day - 4 -- » Nainital

After a leisurely breakfast, we set out on the exciting jeep safari through Nainital, one of the most popular towns of the country and a popular summer retreat. A perfect place for adventure enthusiasts, we will be enjoying Horse ride followed by a boat ride on Lake Naini. Post lunch, we proceed for the bird watching along the lakeside and follow it up with a joyful cable car ride.
After the eventful outing, we drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day – 5 -- » Pangot-Binsar

Early morning 4*4 drive from Pangot to Binsar (4 1/2 hr) and upon arrival transfer to a hotel. Regarded as an ideal place for those looking for solitude, peace and close experience with nature, Binsar was once the capital of Chand Raj dynasty.  Post lunch, we drive towards the bindsar wildlife sanctuary famous for its varied flora & fauna including over 220 species of birds. Game drives into the reserve followed by sightseeing of Bindsar including Zero point, Bineshwar Mahadev temple, Golu Devta temple and Binsar museum.
Overnight stay in Binsar wildlife lodge.

Day - 6 -- » Binsar-Munsiyari

Morning start to the 6 hr. jeep drive to Munsiyari and upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Take time to relax before heading out for the jeep safari around the quaint little township which commands panoramic views of Milam and Ralam valley and the Panchchuli peaks. Visit the local market to shop for ethnic handicrafts and artifacts followed by return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day - 7 -- » Munsiyari

Morning after breakfast, trek towards the Khaliya Top located 11,500 ft. above sea level. The hill top provides a bird’s eye view of Panch-Chulli peaks, a panoramic view aptly suited for nature photography. Rivers Ramganga and Gori flowing through its plains will provide us with fishing opportunities or you may opt for trekking towards the Lilam village which passes along the banks of Gori Ganga and quite towns of Dumar, Darkot, and Jimighat.

Day - 8 -- » Munsiyari

Today’s jeep safari takes us to the village of Kausani (6 hr.), on the way passing through rough roads, shallow water bodies and remote villages. Upon arrival transfer to a luxury lodge. Rest of the day at leisure, ride to the interiors of the village interacting with the villagers to get insight into their nomadic lifestyles. Overnight stay at Munsiyari.

Day - 9 -- » Munsiyari-Kausani

After breakfast, proceed for the exciting jeep safari which involves driving, camping and bird watching in the mighty Himalayan ranges. We will be pitching tents near a lake and preparing food by ourselves by collecting dry woods from the jungle. Talk the evening away under the clear sky opposite the campfire.
Overnight stay at the campsite.

Day - 10 -- » Kausani- Corbett National Park

Morning after breakfasts proceed for the jeep drive to Corbett National Park (4 1/2 hr.) and upon arrival check-in at a wildlife resort. Post lunch, an exciting wildlife safari into the reserve accompanied by a naturalist to observe the wildlife from close quarters. After familiarizing ourselves with the surroundings and sightings of some rare and beautiful species, we return to the lodge for overnight stay.

Day - 11 -- » Kausani-Corbett National Park

Today morning we will set out for the popular Tiger tracking tour, and spend most of the time near water bodies or other areas where we might spot the animal more easily. We will also have a bird watching tour in the park, and avid photographers may keep their camera handy. Post lunch, take an elephant ride in the reserve followed by return to the lodge for dinner & overnight stay.

Day - 12 -- » Corbett National Park-Delhi

On the last day of a memorable jeep safari, we shall depart for a 6 hr. drive to arrive at Delhi by evening and upon arrival transfer to the international airport for return/onward journey.
