Overview

Built by Maharana Jagat Singg II in 1754, the Lake palace is regarded as one of the most beautiful and elegant hotels of Rajasthan. Situated 3 km from Udaipur Railhead and 26 km from the Airport, the Lake palace is situated on an island in the middle of Lake Pichola which lends to its charm. The palace sprawls over 4 acres of land covering gardens and thick greenery.

Though this former residence of the rulers of Mewar has now been converted into heritage hotel, it has lost none of its royal touch. All pleasure and privileges are available in its 85 rooms consisting of 53 deluxe rooms and 13 beautiful suites. Also housed inside the palace are jewelry & souvenir shops, coffee shops and restaurant.
