Delhi Agra Jaipur Jodhpur Tour, Golden Triangle with Jodhpur Tour Map

Destinations : Delhi > Agra > Jaipur > Jodhpur > Delhi

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

As you arrive Delhi airport your Golden Triangle Tour will start . On your arrival will be welcome by traditional style after you will transfer to hotel for by a private car.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast start your Golden Triangle tour with Jodhpur. You will visiting important tourist sites of Old Delhi and New Delhi. In Old Delhi drive pass Red Fort once a symbol of Mughal power, visit Jama Masjid 16th century mosque and largest in India. Take a rickshaw ride in the narrow alleyways of Chandni Chowk and amazing mixture of history with modern world and visit Raj Ghat cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi the "Father of the Nation". In New Delhi start with India Gate the war memorial and other government buildings stopping at President's house one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, now this is official residence of the President of India. Visit Laxmi Narayan temple build by Birla, Lotus shaped Bhai's Temple later countinue Visit the Qutab Minar 12th century tower and one of the tallest towers of its time, walls here consist of verses from Quran (Holy book of Islam). Wander around the complex visiting ruins of Hindu temples and palaces which once remained here and 4th century steel pillar which has not developed rust till date. Drive past to Humanyun's Tomb complex of buildings built as the Mughal Emperor. In the evening you can visit see light an sound show at Red fort. Return to the hotel for overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi to Agra (205 Km -4 hrs )

Taj Mahal, India

After breakfast drive to Agra stopping by en route to visit Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra, which is one of the finest example of Hindu and Mughal fusion architecture. Then proceed to Agra. On arrival transfer to hotel. After relaxation visit the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. Agra Fort- Foundation led by emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, four of the mighty Mughal rulers controlled their vast empire from here. Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors famous amongst which are Jahangiri Mahal, Khass Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid that represents the excellence of Mughal architecture. Agra fort also serves as a vantage point to view Taj Mahal and it is believed that emperor spent his last days in exile watching the Taj Mahal from here. Taj Mahal (World Heritage Site)- one of the most beautiful monument of love was built during 1630 by grieving emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal is flawless to its conception and execution. It is aptly said that Taj Mahal is not a monument that can be described in a word one has to see it to experience it. You can see to view the monument on the soft light of the setting sun. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday.

Day 04: Agra to Jaipur (240 km - 5 hrs )

Early morning optionally visit Taj Mahal at time of sunrise and check out to hotel and drive to Jaipur stopping by en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri- Just 37 km away from Agra on the way to Jaipur is Fatehpur Sikri, which briefly served as capital of emperor Akbar. It is believed that city was quickly abandoned due to lack of potable water. Palaces, meeting halls, courtyards inside the complex is in a remarkable state of preservation. Holy shrine of Saint Salim Chisti here. one of the important pilgrimage for Muslims and Buland Darwaza which emperor Akbar built to commemorate his victory on Gujarat is very imposing. Then proceed to Jaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel. After relax in evening visit to Biral Temple, pioneer white marble temple. At time of dinner optionally you can visit to Chokhi Dhani- an enthic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani and continental cuisine with live music, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in ethnic resort . Return to hotel and overnight in hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur

After breakfast take an excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort- Ancient capital of Kachhawaha Rajputs rulers of Jaipur, Amber guarded one of the important defiles from invading enemies. Wander inside the Fort to see extravagant Palaces to witnessing the opulence of Rajaput royal lifestyle amongst which summer palace, winter palace and mirror palace are the most popular palaces. Climb the forts ramparts on an elephant back. Later afternoon visit Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) en route to fort and city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace in heart of city, official residence of the present royal family palace covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this Palace is now turned into a museum housing Armoury, Textiles and Artifacts. City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Jantar Mantar- 17th century astronomical observatory, an excellent example of the marvelous precision wherein each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars, altitudes and calculating eclipses and some of them still works. In evening is kept free to visit the famous makert of Textiles, Carpets and handicraft. Jaipur is perfect place for buying souvenirs. Overnight in hotel.

Day 06 Jaipur to Pushkar to Jodhpur (340 km 6- 7 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur en routes Pushkar. Pushkar know for world's biggest cattle fair every year in month Kartka (October/ November). Pushkar is a sacred town, about 400 temples and shrines are located at Pushkar around its holy lake. Pushkar is believed to have been created by Lord Bramha himself. A temple dedicated to Lord Bramha is located at Pushkar; the other temples are those of Gayatri, Savitri, Shiva and Badri Narayan. The ritual of taking dips in the holy water of Pushkar is believed to bestow salvation. Bramha Temple on the bank of Pushkar Lake surrounded by ghat. Once can have lunch at Hotel Pushkar Palace or restaurant. Later drive to Jodhpur. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening you can enjoy with live music and folk dance. Overnight in hotel.

Day 07: Jodhpur to Bishnoi Village Jodhpur (Excursion)

After breakfast visit Clock Tower, Meherangarh Fort- one of the most impressive & formidable fort in the whole of fort-studded Rajasthan. It is located on high natural rock bluff from where you can look down on the wonderful panorama of the bustling city below. Also visit Jaswant Thada is a white marble cenotaph, built in 1899 in memory of the Maharaja Jaswant Singh. Portraits of some leaders of Jodhpur are visible inside the monument. Later take an excursion to Bishanoi village, this is located at a distance of 25 kilometers from Jodhpur amidst the serene nature. Guda Bishnoi Village is a perfect example of dedication for nature exhibited by the local people. Every house in the village is built in a traditional way with utmost cleanliness around it. People of Bishnoi village rarely cut trees. They worship animals as a part of conserving nature. Later visit to the local handicrafts, shoe makers, Silver Jewellery, pottery hand weaving, en routes watch and photograph wildlife black buck, peacock etc. Later return to Jodhpur for overnight.

08 Day : Jodhpur to Delhi to Home Town

After breakfast drive to airport to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport you will be transferred to board the flight for onwards journey. Tour concludes with happy memories.
