Day 01 Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi international airport you will be met by SKH Global Travels tour representative and displaying placard addressed to your name. He will be greeted and assisted to you in traditional Indian Hospitality, and drive to hotel for check in. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 Delhi

Red Fort Delhi

After breakfast start your Golden Triangle and Khajuraho tour from Delhi. You will visiting important tourist sites of Old Delhi and New Delhi. In Old Delhi drive pass Red Fort once a symbol of Mughal power, visit Jama Masjid 16th century mosque and largest in India. Take a rickshaw ride in the narrow alleyways of Chandni Chowk and amazing mixture of history with modern world and visit Raj Ghat cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi the "Father of the Nation". In New Delhi start with India Gate the war memorial and other government buildings stopping at President's house one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, now this is official residence of the President of India. Visit Laxmi Narayan temple build by Birla, Lotus shaped Bhai's Temple later countinue visit the Qutab Minar 12th century tower and one of the tallest towers of its time, walls here consist of verses from Quran (Holy book of Islam). Wander around the complex visiting ruins of Hindu temples and palaces which once remained here and 4th century steel pillar which has not developed rust till date. Drive past Humanyun's Tomb, complex of buildings built as the Mughal Emperor. In the evening you can visit light an sound show at Red fort. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 Delhi to Neemrana to Jaipur (260 Km/5 hrs)

Neemrana Fort

After breakfast drive to "Pink city" Jaipur en routes visit splendid Neemrana Fort, where you can opt for lunch over here. Neemrana fort is converted into magnificent heritage hotel. On arrival transfer to the hotel. After relaxation in evening visit to Biral Temple, pioneer white marble temple. At the time of dinner optionally you can visit to Chokhi Dhani- an ethnic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani and continental cuisine with live music, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in ethnic resort. Return to hotel and overnight in hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur

City Palace

After breakfast take an excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort- Ancient capital of Kachhawaha Rajputs rulers of Jaipur, Amber guarded one of the important defiles from invading enemies. Wander inside the Fort to see extravagant Palaces to witnessing the opulence of Rajaput royal lifestyle amongst which is Summer Palace, Winter Palace and Mirror Palace are the most popular palaces. Climb the forts ramparts on an elephant back. Later afternoon visit Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) en route to fort and city tour of Jaipur, visiting City Palace in heart of city, official residence of the present royal family palace covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this Palace is now turned into a museum housing Armoury, Textiles and Artifacts. City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Jantar Mantar- 17th century astronomical observatory, an excellent example of the marvelous precision wherein each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars, altitudes and calculating eclipses and some of them still works. In evening is kept free to visit the famous makert of Textiles, Carpets and handicraft. Jaipur is perfect place for buying souvenirs. Overnight in hotel.

Day 05 Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri to Agra (240 km/5 hrs )

Taj Mahal

After breakfast drive to Agra en routes Fatehpur Sikri (37 kms from Agra)- Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty- Fatehpur Sikri built in red stone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emeperor Akabar. It is believed that city was quickly abandoned due to lack of potable water. Inside the comlex, Diwan-e-Khas, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza etc. Later proceed to Agra. On arrival transfer to hotel. After relaxation visit Taj Mahal (World Heritage Site)- the architectural modern day seven wonder of the world, this monument is a fine example of the combination of many architectural styles, is one of the wonders of the modern world. This most beautiful monument of love was built during 1630 by grieving emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal is flawless to its conception and execution. It is aptly said that Taj Mahal is not a monument that can be described in words, a one has to see it to experience it. You can stay on, to view the monument on the soft light of the setting sun. Agra Fort- Foundation led by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, four of the mighty Mughal rulers controlled their vast empire from here. Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors famous amongst which are Jahangiri Mahal, Khass Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid etc. that represents the excellence of Mughal architecture. Fort also serves as a vantage point to view Taj Mahal and it is believed that emperor spent his last days in exile watching the Taj Mahal from here. visit Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. In evening visit local market and overnight in hotel.

Day 06 Agra to Jhansi to Orchha to Khajuraho

Khajuraho Temple

After morning breakfast drive to railway station to board the scheduled train to Jhansi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to Khajuraho en routes visit Orchha- it was founded in the early 16th century by Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap and remained the capital of powerful Rajput Kingdom from 1583 till 1783. Orchha is famous historical site with magnificent temple and monuments. You can visit Jahangir Mahal, The Ram Raja Mandir, Lakshmi Narayan temple and Raj Mahal. Later proceed to Khajuraho- This town known as the city of moon god is world renowned erotic sculptures carved out of stones on the walls of temple complexes. These temples are a representation of sanctity and are also known for their religious benediction. On arrival transfer to hotel. After relaxation take sightseeing tour of captivating Western group of Temple. The Temple of Khajuraho have been declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE BY UNESCO in order to preserve the rich legacy of architecture. This group of temple comprises of two historic Jain Temple and Parsvanath Temple. These temples are famous for their complex Sculpted figures and erotic carvings that are one of the outstanding achievements of Indian art. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Khajurhao to Delhi (By Flight)- Home town

After breakfast visit 1000 years old Chandela's Eastern group of Temple which consists of three Hindu and three Jain temples. Also visit the temples of Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman both dedicated to lord Vishnu. Later drive to airport to board the scheduled flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport you will be transferred to board the flight for onwards journey. Tour concludes with happy memories
